Tate Kirchenschlager is working on building a foundation in the team roping on a well broke 7-year-old gelding who comes from the cow horse side of the arena. Kirchenschlager uses slower cattle to help the horse learn how to rate and turn the steer, and he focuses on getting the horse in the left lead before he leaves the box.
