Groundwork: Familiarizing a 2-Year-Old to a Rope with Clayton Edsall
Making it to a Million with Clayton Edsall

28m
Clayton Edsall works with a 2-year-old with about 15 rides on him, introducing him to a rope on the ground. Clayton uses the rope as a tool to get the colt moving away from pressure in a soft and levelheaded manner. He doesn't want the colt to check out mentally—instead, he wants him to come and look for release. He also works with the colt around his legs, improving his odds in the event it ever gets caught in wire or fencing.
