The gelding is now turned out at Smith’s Lipan, Texas ranch, enjoying retirement after a career that spanned two decades and shaped the career of his two-time world champion owner.Amigo—registered with the AQHA as Sunday Night Bingo—won the AQHA/PRCA Heel Horse of the Year title in 2007, right alongside Walt, the iconic head horse of Travis Tryan’s (who, by the way, will be our next special horse feature).
