Established in 1977, the BFI is known as “The Roper’s Super Bowl,” attracting the best professional and amateur ropers to showcase their skills in a high-stakes, high-payout competition. Held annually in Guthrie, Oklahoma, at the Lazy E Arena, BFI Week features multiple roping events, including the BFI itself, the BFI Legends, and various amateur and youth competitions. With a rich history and a reputation for challenging cattle, long scores, and a big-money payout structure, the BFI continues to be a premier event in the team roping industry, drawing top talent and fans.
